Solo Exhibition This Summer!

Richard has been invited to do a solo exhibition of his work for the Utah Shakespeare Festival. I have seen the paintings, and they are spectacular. The paintings will be hanging upstairs and down in the Randall Jones Theatre, so make sure you see them all! In addition, prints of the originals will be available in the gift shop there.

It has been a wonderful process so far. The USF is fantastic to work with. The organization is full of professionals and everything they do is done well, from the costumes to the paperwork. We have enjoyed getting to know them and being privileged to work with them.

The Festival's 2012 season is full of magnificent shows this year: The Merry Wives of Windsor, Les Miserables, and Hamlet, to name just a few.

Come, on! Hamlet! At the Utah Shakespeare Festival?! Nobody should miss that!

I could rave about the Festival, as Richard and I have been going for years (both before we met and since). The VERY BEST production of The Taming of the Shrew I have ever seen was performed there. In fact, I miss that production whenever I see the play now. It is a reminder of the magic of the stage: how a particular cast, a particular costumer, and countless others can come together with a particular director's vision and create something amazing. And if you aren't there, you'll never get the chance to see it. So GO! You won't regret it.

Richard's work will be there during the whole season, so whichever plays you're attending, be sure to stop over in the Randall Jones Theatre and check it out.
